Ok ladies opinions please. I am on my third and final pregnancy and am considered high risk due to the fact that with my last pregnancy I had polyhydraminos (high amniotic fluid) and my sob was born 4wks early as healthy ascan ox I might add. So I am 15 wks 4d and have to start progestrone shots at 16-36 wks I think. All the extra appointments are exhausting and is this just a regular shot in the arm or butt? But now I have my regular ob, a high risk dr I see alot and weekly shots all with a 9mo old and 7yr old and my fiance works and cant reallt afford a baby sitter. Any advice or insight into this??
I had the same issue I had to see my regular doctor and high risk doctor every two weeks plus the shot every week. I decided to do my own shots so that made it a little better but u have to see both doctors cuz they look at different things. I stop seeing my high risk doctor at 25 weeks
Wow what do u have to get progesterone shots for.im on my 2nd pregnancy and have polyhydramnios and also macrosomia (extra large baby.my first child there was no problems, i had her at 41wks and she was 6lb2oz. Im now 38wks and this baby is over 9lb.ive to be c-sectioned this thursday. Does this mean if i choose to have another after this that i would have to get progesterone shots aswell? I dont plan on anymore btw, this has been the worst pregnancy ever!
