Pack what ever it takes to make you comphy... hair supplies... bathing supplies.... beauty supplies... comphy clothes.... clothes for baby.... snacks to sneak and eat while in labor because some hospitals won't let you eat or drink... stuff like that...
Don't forget about your partner and baby. If you have someone staying there with you make sure you pack them comfy clothes, regular day clothes, slippers and snacks. The less they will have to go home.
For baby I brought the take home outfit, extra blankets, and a travel bag for going home.
28 weeks & im just so excited about seeing my little one & giving birth I've started a basic small list...tooth brush, scented lotion, folder, pillow, & favorite blanket & .... :)
This is my second too and I am a list person. So I Googled it and they have a list on what to expect when you are expecting website or in their book. Hope that helps.
I recommend a razor and shaving cream. Incase my water broke and I hadn't shaved that day... so my leggs are prickly but I don't think that's an nessecity. Our hospital has them but they leave razor burn... pillow for sure... I'm brinfing a few movies our l and d rooms have dvd players so we aren't stuck watching boring tv...
I am 35 weejs and havent started yet either but i do have a mental list started ;)
I'm 37.1 weeks haven't started packn but 2day I am
And obviously also deoderant and toothbrush and makeup if u wear it but thats all stuff your gonna have to try to remember in the moment unless you have extra that you can pack now
Travel shampoo and cond, headband or elastics, brush, phone charger, lip balm, granny panties and nightgowns, magazines or books, ipod or mp3 if u dont have music on your phone, also I think its a good idea to bring a folder because they give you so much paperwork to take home. Thats all i can think of right now... some people also bring their own pillow because the hospitals suck. Slippers also.
