Hi all. I'm just curious really. I'm an overweight mummy to be to my third child. Whilst pregnant with my other two I was a healthy weight but illness and bad habits have caused me to become a size 22. I'm just wondering will my 'bump' even show? If so how far along can I expect to be before starting to show? Please no bad comments I know I'm overweight and was dieting to lose it then fell pregnant.

First of all, congrats on the baby! My fella and i were trying to conceive for over a year & i figured that it would be best to get fit in the meantime (im a size 24), obviously because itd be better for the baby but the diva inside of me did it for the vanity also. I wanted to be the cute pregnant girl with the adorable bump. Literally after 3 days of working out and eating right, i found out i was pregnant! I have been trying to stick to eating bette but havent worked out as much as ive liked especially since its summer and this cali heat is a nightmare.... but i guess eating right has worked, im 14 wks and im down 7 pounds from when i found out i was expecting, i was 6wks4days. Good luck and dont fret so much girlie ;)

Aww honey! No one will judge you here! You may show quicker than you'd think since this isn't your 1st little one! When I became pregnant w/ my2nd I was 221lbs and a size 14/15. I showed ...by probably  20 wks.

You should def get a bump unless you carry more towards your back. I'm overweight too and my last pregnancy i got huge!!!! There was no denying a bump. I'm almost 15 weeks with #3 and depending on what I wear you can tell its a bump lol

I was a size 22 prepregnancy and I'm 33+ 2, have only gained five pounds, and you can definitely see a bump, it didn't really pop out until around 26 or so weeks, but it is definitely out there and growing. I'm still a size 22, my fat just moved around to the front of my belly (you can actually see my hip bones on my sides now which is so weird for me because I've NEVER seem my hip/pelvic bones before)

I wish you luck i dont know if you'll show but having a strong mother like you will be amazing for any baby. My cuz is a bigger girl and she defiantly got round. If that helps.

Hi, I am also an overweight expecting mommy with my first. Before I got pregnant, I had lost about 30 pounds, so I was at 255 when I got pregnant. Also a size 22. I was worried I wouldn't show or have a cute bump like the smaller moms out there, but around 22-24 weeks I started to have a noticeable bump.. I know every pregnancy and body is different, but if I have a baby bump, I assume you will as well :)

You go girl! I love the strength you showed in your post. I can't say if or when you may show. But, I will say that if you are wanting to you can have a perfectly healthy and beautiful pregnancy and manage what you gain. I had a friend who like you was in the process of dieting and became pregnant. She worked closely with her doctor and actually lost weight during her pregnancy. If you decided to keep the momentum I will say work with the dr. And there is support here. Congrats on the new baby :)
