Talk to your doctor before doing this but I took unisom my second pregnancy occasionally for my second pregnancy for morning sickness.   I just took half the dosage the doctor recommended and I have a very healthy 2.5 yr old now so it doesn't seem to have hurt him.  Maybe you could use it to help you sleep.
