I'm going through the same exact thing. In my case it's not a UTI, I think it's just the position of the baby. I mainly sleep on my left side and when it begins to hurt I prop myself up in the bed but I also get alot of contractions at night. I was thinking it's because at night I try not to drink much fluids so I'm probably not as hydrated as during the day time.

My first was breech until I went into labor. He was born 2 days after his due date I went for  my last ob app. On the due date and he was still breech when I went into labor he was head down though.
