devastated and confused

Yesterday I went for a pelvic ultrasound and my uterus is 25 weeks like its suppose to be but didn't see my baby. Im so confused like what the hell happen. I would've known if I miss carried or not. Now I'm waiting for my doctor to call me. All I can do is cry. Can anybody explain to me what's goin on or if this happen to u or anyone u know

Maybe there was something wrong with their machine or the baby is just hiding somewhere? Drink a big glass of orange juice and get on your left side for about an hour... see if you can feel baby then. Praying that it's a fluke!

Yes I was feeling flutters and everything. It was mainly in my side and at the top of my stomach then all of sudden it went faint. It was days I didn't feel anything.

Damn OK it didn't post so just Google 25 week ultrasound no baby and I think its the third link down... the woman had an u/s at 25 weeks and there was no baby and she went back at 26 and there he was..  they said he was hiding

Oh my gosh, I pray everything is fine! I don't understand why they didn't do an ultrasound on the outside of your belly? By 25 weeks they should have been doing an anatomy and gender scan. So since 23 weeks you have barely felt movement? And were you feeling flutters or kicks up until that time?

Maybe its more on your spine and that's y they don't see it they said they don't see it at all like no baby is there a heart beat

Also my stomach is round and hard. I'm jus devastated and in disbelief. Im wondering if they do another ultrasound on the outside will they see something. The man was only looking at my uterus and ovaries only

This was my first ultrasound appointment I jus got insurance so they were able to finally see me. I had been taking prenatal pills. They didn't find out I was pregnant til the beginning of March and that was it. I'm jus so confused and I'm big as ever. How is it that my uterus is pregnant but they didn't see a baby. They said I should hear from doctor by Friday.  It was nothing they could do and he wasn't goin to tell me until I asked.

This happend to my sister too. Except her body thought it was pregnant. Released all the hormonesshe even had a sack and ututuris grew. I hope everything is good and maybe something was off with maxhine.

Maybe it was just a fluke?? Do you have another ultrasound booked? I honestly have no idea what could have happened but I will be thinking of you and your baby! Please keep us updated.

They should have been checking for a heart beat at around 16 weeks and if they weren't able to locate one they would order an ultrasound. A fetus at 20 weeks would not have passed out of the body undetected. Were you recieving regular prenatal care prior to the ultrasound?

Im so sorry, I hope you get the answers you need from the doctor. I have no idea, myself. My first pregnancy ended in miscarriage.  ((Hugs))

That is very strange! I am 26 weeks and I feel her all day long. Even if you miscarried at that far along they would still find a baby, just without a heart beat unless you miscarried a long time ago. I lost my first pregnancy at 16 weeks and I had to have have a DNC because the baby is too big for you to pass without dialating. I can't believe if you felt her starting at 20 weeks they shouldn't have let you leave without an answer. I'm sorry but I hope your ultrasound tech was just bad at her job! Praying everything is ok.

How is my uterus 25 weeks but they can't find a baby. I jus don't understand. I started feeling my baby at 20wks but then it went faint around week 23 so I don't know what happen in between that time. The ultrasound tech said everything is in place like a baby was there
