I'm 35 weeks and 4 days and attempted to have sex with my fiancé tonight. I couldn't go through with it because it hurt! We did it last week and it was a little uncomfortable but this time I couldn't even let him put it in. We had plenty of lube but the pain felt like someone was rubbing sand paper inside of me, but only on one spot in there! It was like an inch inside against the front wall of my vagina where my g spot would be. And also my urethra was sore. I guess it's just from the pressure in there or something. But it sucked that we couldn't do it :( we finished each other off in other ways but I was hoping when the time gets closer, we could have used sex to stimulate labor down the road. Idk if that's gonna be possible now! I'm also spotting a bit but I'm not really worried. Just disappointed.

Thanks ladies. Maybe I will try it with a condom. We did it from behind standing up and I think last time we started that way too and when I switched to on my back it didn't hurt as much. Maybe next time I'll just try it on my back again. I just don't like it on my back as much because I feel like an alien with this big hump sticking up between us, in full view lol Usually I try to put a blanket over it but at this point there's no hiding it! I have my weekly appt on Monday and its the first time they are going to check for dilation so I guess while he's down there I will ask my dr if everything seems normal, just to be sure.

I had the same feeling with my first child I couldn't even stand to have sex cuz of this issue but this one is different

You should try with a condom I'm 38 weeks pregnant and I don't have a lot of sex either but that seems to work when we try .... i think cuz the area is dry :(

No it didn't really burn. Just felt super sore in that one area when touched. It was weird how it didn't hurt all over inside though.

If what u r describing is like a burning sensation during sex I wonder if u could possibly have a yeast infection. Does it burn after sex when u pee also?
