colouring hair

I am 5 weeks pregnant and was wondering if I can still get my hair coloured, or will it effect my pregnancy?

Thanks heaps for the advice I will wait until my second trimester just to make sure, hopefully the hair can last until then before to much regrowth lol :)

Omg I colored my hair at 8 weeks my hairdresser wasn't concerned and had assured me when I was TTC it was perfectly safe. Didn't even think to ask ob guess I will fess up at my next appt and pray my baby is fine....

yeah i agree wait until your second trimester i have dyed mine 3 times since then and my babys perfectly healthy

My doctor said wait till second trimester. Once i hit 13 weeks i dyed my hair. Baby is perfectly fine :)

My Dr said the same to wait until the2nd possibly the 3rd trimester to dye my hair

Also, know that your hormones can make the color change from what you normally have it do

Wait till your 16 weeks. Ur bby right now is extremely fragile and coloring ur hair is not the best idea. i had the same ? in the begging of my pregnancy and asked my dr he said to wait until  13 weeks. but i went ahead and dyed it at 16 wks just to b safe
