is drinking Pepsi safe during pregnancy?

I am 22 weeks pregnant and i am really struggling with having to give up drinking Pepsi. Do you guys think this bad habit might affect my baby?  I am very concern.

as others have mentioned  caffeine intake is something  to consider. but also make sure your replacing the fluids you lose by drinking it. it dehydrates you so follow it with a large glass of water, you want to get in about  3liters a day. also limit intake of Pepsi  cuz it leeches calcium from your bones and your baby is using up all your stores as well  so i would make sure you get in an extra serving of calcium as well  any day that you have one.

Pepsi is fine ib moderation.  And the whole caffeine thing about too much can cause low birth weight im not sure is true in all cases.  My mother was addicted to coffee and drank 5 + cups . day while pregnant with me and i was 8lbs. :/

When I was early on I was having alot of nausea and the dr told me to drink a coke. So it can't be that bad if a Dr says to do it.
And about the birth weight I don't know if that's true, I gave up soda with my first she was 5lbs 15 oz. I drank soda with my second and he was 8 lbs 2 oz. So maybe the opposite u get a bigger baby with soda.

You can look on the can to see how much caffeine is in it. It's nowhere near 300 per can. In diet cherry coke it's only 30-40mg per can

I drank Pepsi throughout my first two pregnancies, cause my OB said it was fine. She told my it was the only dark soda that was OK to drink. Ask your doctor, though.

Pepsi is both caffeine and sugar drink it in moderation try to cut back to once a week and then try to cut back even more if you can. With my first I craved Dr.Pepper.  I purchased the mini cans and drunk them in moderation.

Drinking Pepsi is fine, in moderation, just try to keep below the acceptable caffeine levels each day - don't drink too much diet Pepsi either because it contains aspartame.

Pepsi and soda in general isn't good for any of use, but one or two cans a day isn't going to do any harm. Just be careful with the caffeine content.

If you drink too much its bad. Too much caffeine can lead to low birth weight if you drink alot but ur allowed like 300 mg of caffeine a day so about one caffeinated soda a day.
