So I am 35+4 and have finished packing my hospital bag. I just want to make sure I haven't forgotten anything! Keeping in mind its a fairly hot spring here in QLD Australia and assuming a 2 day stay

For Baby
6 singlets
3 short sleeve button under suits
2 long sleeve button under suits (incase the air con in hospital makes it cold)
3 stretch n grows
2 pairs of socks and booties
2 beanies
12 nappies and a pack of wipes
Baby shampoo and rash cream
2 going home outfits for different weather
2 light weight wraps

For Me
2 Night shirts and pj shorts
4 pairs of underpants
pack of maternity pads
Shampoo and conditioner
Tooth brush and paste
Hair brush
2 maternity bras
pack of breast pads

Nipple cream, cell phone, charger, camera, slippers, and I always bring my own pillow because I don't like the hospital's.

Im 37 and a half weeks and still havent packed my bag lol. Im in qld australia too, qld hospitals no longer provide anything for the baby i know thats the case with redcliffe anyway. I wouldnt worry bout shamp and cond as they suggest only to use water for first week or so. In my baby bag ive also put in a dummy cause im going in for a c section it can help hold him off until i get out of recovery to feed him cause i am refusing to use any type of bottle this time around i want to 100% breastfeed.

Thanks ladies. I haven't been given a hospital pack - im pretty sure that the public hospital I'm going to you have to supply everything yourself but I'll double check at my next appointment :)

I'm in west aus, I wouldn't worry about the baby shampoo, and often times the hospital supply the baby clothes, nappies and wipes etc while your there. Have you done your hospital book in yet? Usually they give you a list of what to take, it will differ from hospital to hospital due to what they supply.
My hospital check list recommended 4 packets of maternity pads, 8 pairs of old underwear, lip balm and lollies, body wash/soap, and I'm going public. This was for a 2/3 night stay. And pretty much everything else on your list.
