Look into Charlie's Soap. We need detergent free of dyes, perfumes, etc... bc it's less harsh on our septic system and yes special detergent is required to extend the life of cloth diapers if you are cloth diapering.
I used baby detergent with my daughter almost 7 years ago. This time I'm not buying the baby detergent because I have pretty sensitive skin myself and use Free All and Clear detergent. It has no dyes or perfumes so basically it's the same thing just cheaper.
You need to use non bio as bio detergent is far to harsh for babies skin.
We make our own detergent free of dyes and chemicals so we use that for everyone.
I used regular detergent for my first child and nothing happened but when i used it with my second child she broke out so i used dreft with her. Im gonna start off using regular detergent with this baby too and if she breaks out I'll use dreft. It all depends on your baby's skin sensitivity.
I just use sensitive laundry detergent free of dyes and perfumes. You can get it in pretty much any brand. That baby detergent is so expensive!
Im really ticky about new borns because they break out from anything, and its hard to find out wat your newborn is allergic too so for a few months I always buy the dreft detergent to be on the safe side I always wash new clothes in it before I put dem on my baby until like 5 or 6 months but everyone doesnt agree with it so its up to you because it can get expensive
I had to use dreft with my daughter. She had eczema pretty bad for awhile
I use the same detergent that I use with my clothes.
Not sure but I use dreft baby detergent just to b on the safe side
I had to buy baby stuff with both my daughter's because they got rash with regular detergent but only for the first 3 months. Only thing I've been told for sure is not to use bleach on their clothes and it's better not to mix theirs with ours. You can always try regular detergent because not all baby's have a reaction to it.
It doesn't matter. Obviously if someone in your family already has sensitive skin you should be cautious about what type of detergent you use. And just watch to see if your baby starts to get a rash. My family doesn't have any sensitivity issues and i dont use baby detetgent. I bought it for by first son 14 years ago and I'm sorry I wasted the money.
Both my mom and mother in law said that there was no such thing when they had babies so i'm gonna wash in my regular detergent and if my son gets a reaction i'll buy the baby stuff
