I have this to. So painful. Wish I could stop them. They just started happening to me a few weeks ago. I'm 32 weeks now and I can't go another 6 weeks like this. :(
im 27 weeks literally feels like someones stabbing ur calves its painful it can b any little move i make with my leg at night and it triggers it . its horrible
sometimes i find pulling ur toes toward u will help a little
and i guess eating bananas is good something about the potassium i was told
Try propping your legs on a few pillows. Usually when I do that it dulls the pain enough to allow me to fall asleep.
When i get them I flex my feet up pulling them back as far as I can. It doesn't make it stop, but it helps with the pain a little. Sometimes if I do it right as they start it seems to make the cramp shorter.
Rub vicks vapour rub into them just before bedtime and this will relieve the pain.
I've had this since week 18. It totally *****! Stretching helps a bit
Yes! They were horrible with my daughter and I would cry ...my hubby would point my toes up and it helped ..it hurt but helped. Eat more bananas it will help.
Good luck!
I was eating a banana every morning and still got them. Didn't make a difference. I just get them once in a while. I just not to stretch my toes down, but when you're half a sleep it can just happen.
I put the arch of my foot on something cold. I keep our glass water change bottle next to the bed. Instant relief. I've done this will all of my pregnancies. And eat bananas.
Take magnesium supplements - they aee natural way to relax muscles and it is completely safe during pregnancy if you take 1 a day
it stopped my leg cramps :)
Drink tons of water. They are caused by dehydration.
