i know its not contractions but is it normal?

I am 34 weeks and 4 days along. For roughly the past week or so I have had some pain very low in my pelvic area. I would say it feels like its right along my bikini line. It only hurts when I move certain ways and especially after sitting or laying in one way for a long time. It feels like muscle soreness but its very annoying. Is this normal? Should I alert my doctor right away or is this something that can wait until my next appointment next week friday?

Its provably baby dropping a bit and settling into your pelvis.
I find when I walk I get those shooting throbs right down my vag. It feels awful, but its your body stretching and preparing for labour. Im 39+3 weeks and it only gets more uncomfortable...I wish I could tell ya otherwise...but that's all part of the journey.
Id let your doctor know at your apt...but they will probably tell you to use Tylenol for the discomfort. I use a heatpad on my lower back and that tends to make everything down below feel better temporarily..
Good luck :-)
