loss of words

So my mil was diagnosed with ovarian cancer 5 years ago. She kicked it's butt and was.doing awesome. She goes every 3 months to check her markers or whatever it is. They say.anything over 30 is usually bad. About 3 months ago hers was 14 she came.over last night to tell us she went back the other day and hers had gone up to 74 since her last apt. So she has to go on Halloween to get.more tests. I'm really sad. My husband is her only kid and we are about to have our second baby. I don't know what to say.to him to.make him feel better. He really hasn't been talking much since he found out. I feel.so.bad he has so much on his plate. He does.everything for us so I can stay home with our boys. He pays for everything our mortgage heat TV cars food cell phones and Gives.me.spending money.for whatever i want..he does.literally everything.  I dont know what to do to cheer him up our anniversary is Halloween and his 35th birthday is the next day. I'm at a loss for words. To make things worse.Halloween will be 5 years since my mil was first diagnosed and 1 year since my Uncle died from bone cancer. Anyone gone through this.during pregnancy ? Any advice or ideas what I can do for my husband??

I've not been thur it while being pregnant but a year ago today my mom had surgery to remove all female parts due to ovarian cancer.  I'm sure your husband will come around when he is ready just be there for him when he breaks down. On your anniversary maybe make him a photo collage of his childhood. Idk wish I knew what to say. I'll say a prayer for you mil
