is this normal??

For the last couple days I've not been feeling 100% first I had very soft stool (sorry I know that's tmi but..)  and I was in the bathroom for like 1 hr. Then I started getting very bad braxton hix contractions around 5 in one hour. By the time I went to bed I had a headache and felt very nauseous I got up at 3am and still felt sick. So this morning I felt like throwing up and within all this I'm so thirsty I can't get enough water!!!

Is this normal????

I did the electrolyte water.  I was having the contractions 3.5 mins apart monday night.  Now I am just getting them sporadic.   The diarrhea went away but I am still very nauseous :-/ and always thirsty even after drinking a whole bottle of water straight.  I also find I am peeing a lot.  This is my third pregnancy but first time I am going to experience labor (hopefully).  With my other two I never even had Braxton hicks before the c sections at 39 weeks lol.  I feel so clueless suddenly lol.

Ouch ya. I have a lot of family on the east.  Well definitely keep drinking lots.  Maybe you can get some electrolyte water?  They have it at trader Joe's and at most regular grocery stores, or Gatorade.   Try to get ahead of the loss stool.  Unless you dont want to stop labor if it is starting.  But essentially this is what castor oil does, it dehydrates and causes diarrhea to kick start labor.  If you have contractions every 5 minutes for an hour definitely go to l&d.

I had very similar symptoms earlier this week (36 and 6 today).  I went to the doctor and was told that the diarrhea was causing labor.  My cervix is closed so that is good.  But she said I must br dehydrated...all I drink is tea and water....so that doesn't make sense to me.  But it could also be early labor.  Anyway I would just go in and make sure they check you.  Better safe.  Like me u r passed the 36 mark so if u do go in labor they wont stop it as baby will be fine but it is best we are at least 37 weeks as the nurse in l&d told me.

No I'm not prone to it. At least not like this. I called my Doct and they said if he's moving he's ok and if Im contracting every 5 min regular then call. I've had friends tell me its signs of pre labor so now idn what to think

Well, maybe. It might be okay for you. Are you prone to getting bad nausea and digestive issues while pregnant? You just described my last 23 weeks besides the Braxton Hicks lol I'm almost 35 weeks along now.
I would suggest that you call your doctor or midwife or what have you, they're best qualified to make an educated suggestion and they might want you to head to the labor unit so they can look you over.
Even though almost all of those symptoms are an average thing for me, it might mean for you that you've got a stomach bug of some kind or your body is thinking about going into labor a little ahead of schedule.
