miralax?

Okay, so i go roughly a week without having any bowel movements... I take milk of mag every other day and never have any luck... Is miralax safe for pregnancy? I need something.. Uncomfortable, and sex is unpleasure becuz i can feel pain back there.. I need to empty the garbage!help.........please :)

My doctor told me to take miralax and to increase my water intake. I was already drinking 6-8 glasses of water a day but she to increase to 10-12 a day

I drink 2-3 bottled waters a day, along with juices. Im a big veggie and fruit girl. And still nothing.. Just didnt wanna take miralax if it was harmfuld

I'd recommend a plain water (distilled or boiled and then allowed to cool to room temperature) enema. My obstetrician said it was fine and it was the only relief I got. I had tried metamucil, lots of salads, suppositories - nothing else have me a thorough cleaning out. Good luck!
