castor oil

I tried taking castor oil a little over a week ago im now 40+2 and i had my membrane stripped yesterday. I was wondering if i should take it again today as i am having cramping and have been using my pump every two hours like my dr said. I have been feeling contractions about 3 or 4 every hour. What do you ladies think should i take a small dose of the oil and see if it helps move things along or just keep waitinf it out. Im scheduled to be induced on Monday

I did it last night and nothing happened (not even a bowel movement). I did get horrible contractions for an hour and they stopped. I'm 2.5-3 cm, 80% effaced and -2 station. I took one tablespoon with 8 ounces of orange juice last night. About 20 minutes ago I tried it again. This time 3 tablespoons and 4 ounces of juice. I'm waiting now for the outcome! I'm due in 7 days... I'm just ready!

Okay, so I did my 2nd round of Castor Oil (mixed with orange juice) last night. No cramps, no contractions and no bowel movement! I had 2 contractions this morning but nothing major. At least my 1st round of castor oil caused severe contractions for an hour. So, now I'm on to Raspberry Leaf Tea. That worked for 2 of my friends. By the way I am a FTM and 7 days left until my due date so my baby is fully developed. I thought I would add that because I've seen several women trying to natural induce at 36 and 37 weeks...be careful with that.
