neural tube defects

I am 21 weeks and I received a call from my doctor saying my blood test came back high risk for Neural Tube defects but not to worry happens often and could be a false positive. I am so worried and scared. This is my 1st baby. I have to follow up with a speclist. Its impossible not to worry. Has anyone else experienced this any feed back would be helpful

I just receive my amniocentese results today after being high risk for trisomy. Everything is normal. I was so worry. Just try to take one day at a time. I wish you that everything is fine.

Ultra sounds might give you more information. I'm sorry. That stuff is always super scary! Good luck#

I am praying for you too. With my 2nd pregnancy my blood work came back high for downs. I worried and cried, but my baby was perfectly fine!!! The test give a lot of false positives sometimes.
