no judging please!

Ok so before I got pregnant I used to smoke marijuana or eat the edibles to help with my depression and also help me eat..once I got pregnant I quit that because my depression went away a lot..but now it came back and also have a hard time eating too because of it. And im stressing out because im 35 weeks and I know food intake is very important these last few weeks but I just dont know what to do about the depression.  ): I dont wanna smoke, and I defiantly dont wanna take any meds, I also dont have anyone I can really vent too because im very picky about who I tell my life story too..what should I do!?? :/

I'm 35 weeks as well will be 36 on Friday and before being pregnant I smoked ooooo so much never smoked cigs so imagine how much weed intake Lol but I haven't smoked my entire pregnancy just thinkof how great a job your doing and the well being of your baby we really ddon't have but a few weeks left your very strong if you've managed to do it this long don't let temptation take over continue to fight it you'll be so proud once baby does come out good luck to you also you want to be careful because they do check babies out for drug intake at birth

Pot is actually a depressant so the fact you were feeling better is probably due to you giving it up rather than begin pregnant. Now that you're off it you should try to shake the habit for good. The best way of dealing with depression is to talk about it, you should really go see a counsellor now & get everything off your chest. When the bub gets here your hormones will be crazy & you'll have no time for yourself. I used to suffer from depression & seeing someone was the best thing I ever did.  Best of luck x

Just take the depression pills and don't worry so much about the eating.  The baby will take what it needs from your body.  I puke the whole 9 months and gain 10 pounds.  I'm 132 now.

I'm not in the same boat as you, but I just wanted to say -- to the ladies that responded-- you are awesome! There are so many women on here that just need some unbiased advice. They know that their life choices are not healthy. Yet too many times other women bash on them because of their struggles. I read many of comments like these and honestly don't know how to respond. But it breaks my heart whenever some self-righteous person decides they have the right to be brutal. I'm just glad that there are ladies like you that can offer advice without being judgmental.

Ur almost done! Me too! I was a daily user and I stopped for the pregnancy just like I did with my first and d believe me I'm counting the days till I can smoke but we're doing it for a good cause and I think twards the end we all get a little depressed!  Talk with ur doc and see about early membranes sweep my doc will do it as early as 37 wks if there is good reason and enough dilation!  There are options!  Ur almost done.....just keep telling ur self that!
