I can't believe it between this sinus infection and the contractions 10 minutes apart still I actually took castor oil. I've already had to have bowel movement. Omg I really can't believe I took it. I'm so nervous now. Idk what to expect or how to know iit's working. Anyone ever taken castor oil? If so what should I expect to happen?

Update: took 1st tbsp 7:45pm, 2nd tbsp 9:00 pm. Been walking since 11:00 pm and the more I've walked the stronger contractions have gotten. Not sure if it's working or not, I'm still doubtful but am starting to really feel some very intense pressure and stronger contractions so going to stop and lay down now and charge up my phone, if everyone is right I'll be heading to l&d by morning. But hubby getting some sleep and I can't keep walking alone.

So far no diarrhea just one soft bowel movement but my body has been cleaning itself out over a week now. Having some cramping but not bad. Everyone says I should probably be in active labor by morning that it takes anywhere up to 12hrs to work. So we will see but part of me really doesn't believe it works. Just finished up on exercise ball about to walk some then lay down and see what happens. I will definitely update.

My friend tried castor oil to induce her labor... she said it didn't work and she just got diarrhea for a day

I wanted to take a laxative but was scared too, I might try castor oil though. Let us know what happens. The worse that could is you goto the bathroom
