Feeling depressed recently

I am almost 20 wks and starting to get a little depressed at this moment but i think that is because 3 yrs ago about this time we were working on a adopting the most precious little baby girl only to have her taken away because the mom changed her mind.  Now with this new bundle growing inside of me and the gender ultra sound coming up on tuesday i think all of those feelings are showing back up.  I know some of it is probably just my hormones going crazy.  I just to get it off of my mind.

He has short term disability but that won't pay until he has been off for sometime

I would look into the temporary unemployment program. My hubby was out for 4 weeks a few years ago. We had to show the DR's papers saying that he couldn't work during the time but he got a small check from unemployment each week that helped.

I think it doesn't help that husband has to have surgery on the 10th also and will be off for at least 6 weeks which will put a strain on our budget and any money we were starting put for when I am on maternity leave will be very depleted if not gone.

I'm sorry that you went through all of that. :( Ultrasound day is always so exciting. Especially the 20 week. And after that things always seem to be much more real and to move at hyper speed. You're going to be so busy with preparation for your new little bundle. ;) congrats mama

Congratulations on your pregnancy!
I'm sure you'll be happy no matter what the gender of the baby. I was so excited to have my ultrasound. Excited for you
