I am 36wk and my lil one is growth restricted. . At 4lb. I have another dr apt this week with us. To check to see if she is growing weight wise....  she is fully formed and on track with bone growth.. my dr and I will take her very soon if she hasn't put weight on ..b/c we can put more weight on her outside tummy.... this is my 2nd pregnancy and my 1st was the same. 4.9 at birth. But completely healthy and fully formed.... my dr. Said your fish only gets as big as your fish tank. But I am very excited to see my lil princess!
Also I didn't smoke cigs at all or done bad drugs.
I did smoke pot (dr aware and was fine to help eat and cure nausea for a small period of time)

Has this happen to anyone else?  Lmk♥

I'm in the same position. My first was induced at 37 wks and weighed 5lbs, my second was induced at 38 wks and 5lbs 9oz. Both very healthy just small. I'm 33wks 4days now and this one has stopped growing. Estimated at 3lbs 4oz. I have received steroid shots and get a non stress test and u/s every week. She looks healthy, just very small. Our goal is to make it to 35 weeks, but I don't think she'll make it to 4lbs. They are preparing us for NICU and caring for a preemie. It's very stressful, but I know we are receiving the best care. At 36 or 37 weeks, your baby should be good. The main thing is maintaining their body temp and keeping up their blood sugar. Best of luck to you!!!!

That's great!  my 4yr old is healthy and very smart so I am trying to rely on the ultasounds making sure everything is on track with baby #2... all that's wrong is weight... so I am just crossing my fingers she won't have to go to the nicu... but I've done all I can staying and eating healthly . Its just I have a small uterus.

I was mainly concerned if he was gonna be breathing on his own n he was. Its scary at first but afterwards it was a relief. He's now six n healthy as an ox.
