My midwife and doctor never told ne there was any risk associated with paracetamol at all, I suffered with real bad headaches duribg first and early second trimester and had to take them (I took 2) after coming on  here I learned that there are some risks and I was annoyed my doctor and midwife both recommended them without informing me of the risks! But if you need them take them! These risks are mostly associated with heavy usage but obviously if you can withstand the pain do! But seriously if you can't do not suffer

Wow I've never seen Paracetamol mentioned on here, it's always Tylenol lol. I'm from the UK and its all I take. Paracetamol is safe in pregnancy but they do advise to take the minimal effective dose and for the shortest time. I usually just take one and if I need to, take another but further apart than the minimum of four hours :)

They say not to take anything in the first trimester as that could cause problems for baby. Just have a sleep if you have a headache
