peanuts

Hey ladies is it safe to eat peaunuts during pregnancy? Been craving so bad I heard its bad though

I don't believe.the whole eat them while ur pregnant and it lowers the risk of allergies cuz I are a lot of peanut products while I was pregnant and my.child is highly allergic to peanuts

I had peanut butter and apples yesterday & it was delicious.... peanut related foods are usually my cravings. I donot think its bad at all, matter of fact its very healthy.

The WIC they give you a jar every month of peanut butter so I don't see what would be different about peanuts:-)

I sure hope so as all I am craving is peanut related. Like eat mores, pb&j sandwitches and anything flavoed like peanut., which usually means it has some in it. Lol

Yes they are, and YoungLadyDay14 is spot on! All the baby books I read when I was preg with my 4yr old said it wasn't safe, but when I had her the pediatrician said it reduces the risk of allergies if you eat them while preg, and also when bub can eat solids its safe to try them with tiny bits of things like peanut butter before they are a year old. He said half the allergies in children are because certain foods were totally avoided and their bodies weren't used to it. So eat all the peanuts you want, I eat so many cashews I'm surprised I hadn't turned into one lol

Yes peanuts n tree nuts are safe unwashed produce and undercooked meats and large fish that will have higher levels of mercury are really only concerns

Yes actually recent studies have shown babies introduced to nuts in the womb are less likely to develop nut allergies. With my 1st 4 yrs ago they were saying the exact opposite.
