pregnant while breastfeeding?

So I have an 8 month old baby that I exclusively breastfeed and I started my periods 2 months after I gave birth and they have been regular until this month I am 5 days late. I've took some tests but they all say negative and I don't feel like I'm pregnant but my periods are always on time. Has anyone else had a late period from breastfeeding??

You can definitely get pregnant while breastfeeding.  It being a birth control is a common misconception.  However I have had very unregular periods after having kiddos.  And before mine were always clock work.

after I had my 1st son I didn't get it back tell my son was a year old.

3of my 5 pregnancies happened while breastfeeding so it's definitely possible. But if ur tests are negative then I doubt u are.

I was told breastfeeding was a natural birth control.  Don't know if it's true.  Lol.  Not gonna experiment tho,

Well I went to doctor cause now I keep having to pee and my lower back hurts but the pee test was negative so they took blood so I will hopefully fine out on Tuesday if I am prego or not

I didn't have a period for 9 months after having my daughter. But then they were irregular for a couple months and then became regular for a couple months and then I got pregnant again when my daughter was 13 months old.

When i had my daughter she would only breastfeed and was a nightmare to stop until 15 months in that time i had a few regular periods early on then when my body adjusted properly they stopped until 1 month after i stopped breastfeeding :)
