prenatals

Im 8 weeks and I have bad all day sickness! My prenatals make me even more sick and I feel sooo rough. Is it ok to cut it in half and have one half in the morning, and one later at night??

Flinstones are the ONLY thing that I found helped. Every prenatal has made me so sick. Doctor said Flintstones are a good substitute :)

I can't take any prenatal. Flintstone gummies dont make me sick and are ok for baby. I take liquid all natural iron from the health food store, also ok for baby, and it works wonders.

I had the same problem with my first. My Dr suggested taking a children's vitamin so that I could still get the main nutrients. I'm only 6 weeks now and I have yet to get sick.

I'm sure I'll get some mixed replies here, but with my daughter - I didn't take any for that exact reason.
I tried different brands, taking the 2 pill kind one in AM and one in PM, cutting them in half, etc. Nothing worked, so I stopped taking them
The only issue I had was I had low iron, so I tried to up red meat, and leafy greens to help.
With this pregnancy (i'm 19wks) I stopped taking them at like 10wks just because I was / am eating healthy enough, and if baby was going to have birth defects, they'd already BE there by then anyways.
It's all up to you. Since I stopped taking them, I feel a bit more tired... but that's because I haven't upped my intake of iron, but my bloodwork hasn't shown anything abnormal, and my MW doesn't really care? lol.

Sip some ginger tea. You can either make it yourself from peeled and sliced fresh ginger, or buy herbal tea packets.

Hey hun I'm 6 weeks and I feel the same way about the all day sickness even though mine is random or I should say hit and miss but I had to start taking my prenatals at night as well so that if they were going to make my stomach upset then I wouldn't even notice it. Sending you blessings. Have you had your first visit yet?  I'm anxiously waiting for mine next week!
