Drink plenty of water. I use Vaseline, carmex, blistex or whatever I  have on hand.

I've had the same problem. I was using coconut oil but it hadn't helped at all. I use Vaseline now and it's the first relief I've felt in weeks.

Get a good lip balm. I've started having this problem where I was peeling my lips everyday. I use carmex, and apply it when needed during the day and apply it at night when I sleep. Burts bees is a good brand, so just go get some and use it.
