Ginger candy or tea or ginger ale (the kind made with actual ginger)
I got seabands and they worked for a while in my earlier weeks
I never took any meds for my morning sickness but it was roughand I ended up losing a bunch of weight from it but in the end what worked for me was these few things. Eat small meals only if its half a piece of toast or 2 crackers. Having a empty stomach on top of nausea made mine a lot worse. The peppermint candy, cinnamon candy and the hot fireballs candy worked the best. The extra salivation from the fire balls and the cinnimon cany help and the peppermint itself helps. I also bought sea bands the acupuncture wrist bands that help with nausea and motion sickness and wore these 24/7 (unless I was showering) these were my saving grace for 10 weeks straight ( i still occasionally wear due to bouts of nausea) **but follow specific directions on how to place these bands**. And other women say eating 10 min or so before you get out of bed in the morning helps and some other women I know say sour patch kids candy helped relieve their morning sickness.
I took zofran for the first 4 months because I was so sick all the time ...I had to take it two to three times a day to keep food down.... I am 38 days from birth ...I hope everything is fine I guess we will know once baby is here.
I would suggest you speak to your dr - they will prescribe something which is not harmful for baby. Apparently, ginger helps for nausea, you can get it in various forms, including lollipops. I found that fruit made my nausea worse, had to avoid it for the first few months. Try avoid foods which seem to trigger your nausea. All the best.
Well my sister used zofran (if that's how you spell it) n her twins came out fine
Have you asked your physician for Phenergan? It worked really well for me. It can cause drowsiness so I always took it at night. Also Zofran is something else you may try. It caused me severe constipation so I didn't take it. There is also a law suit here in US against it for birth defects so just check with your doctor. Also peppermint candies and eating multiple small meals a day I heard helps some women. It didn't help me at all but worth a shot. Hope you feel better.
