restless

I'm trying and trying but I just cannot sleep tonight. My body and mind are so tired but my legs feel like they want to run a mile. If that makes any sense.  I've been tossing and turning and my poor SO has to work in a few hours, so I have resorted to just cleaning the kitchen. Idk what else to do

Benadryl can dry up your milk so if your planning on breastfeeding I say don't take it. It sounds like "Restless Leg Syndrome" I get like that also what helps me is exercise (walking a small walk) or stretching really good touch your toes and hold a stretch both right and left legs better just to do standing stretches before you lay down if not a warm bath (don't stay in longer than 15-20 mins) with Epsom salt. Try simple cure before having to take meds hope you get some rest.

Yes benadryl is safe during pregnancy. My doc gave me the ok to take it when I had very itchy skin. You can also try Tylenol PM.

Next time try a benadryl I know some don't like to take meds to sleep but if I have a long day the next day I have to get rest I take one. If I'm not doing anything the next day I just stay up until I fall asleep
