38 weeks and still not dilating
Hi ladies, is it normal for me to be 38 weeks and still not dilating. I am getting kind of nervous because I wanted to be surprise with my water breaking on its on. I had an appointment today and I am not dilating at all, my doctor mentioned inducing my labor but there is no set date, I am a bit disappointed because I want everything to happen natural for me on its on. Am I over thinking or taking this thing overboard?
Every delivery is different your body will dilate when it's time...some women have problems dilating during labor but after 24 hrs of labor they usually do a c-section
It should be normal I was in labor and only got to a 1
