Has anyone ever got a leave (not maternity leave) due to stress during pregnancy and paid for it thru short term
From what I'm told you won't get fired while you are on short term....my FMLA will be running out soon and I was concerned about that
You can take time off for stress, and it's actually up to your work place weather they want to pay you for it. I have someone here at my work that's going through that right now. Stress related too.
At my job, I qualify for short term but no fmla. So I don't know what I'm going to do. The doctor took me out of work. It's to much on my body physically and my body can't handle it. I work ems with a schedule of 24 on and 48 off. Plus the lifting is to much. I have 10 weeks til my edd and only 12 weeks of std.
Really I just had a convo with my supervisor and she suggested I ask my doctor I'm just concerned my short term disability won't want to pay me
