No!!!!! You should really try to quit and make sure no one else smokes around your baby, or comes near them in clothing that smells of smoke. Smoking near an infant increases the risk of SIDS, and you shouldn't risk it. It will also transfer through your milk.

Remamber that everything U do to urself aka smoking, drinkin, taking drugs(talking about pharmasy drugs to). Will go in to ur sistem, blood, breastmilk and that will also feed ur baby. Even the baby can get reaction to the food ur eating if it is allergic to some type of food(U can see that if its change in ur babies skin, body etc).
Remamber I had antibiotic while breastfeeding, and I notice that she wasnt reacting the same way as she use to. Like her poo was all diffrent(colure, smell, texsture), she was EVEN getting more tired and sleeping a litle more. And all of that was because of my antibiotic. So I stoped my antibiotic cure because of her, and she went back to her normal healty self.
So jjst think about these things.

What U putt in urself will also feed the baby trew ur milk

Not just that but smoke clings to your hair,  clothes,  skin,  hands. .. I can't even count the number of sick infants and toddlers I've cared for in the hospital with bad respiratory infections,  asthma or croup with parents who smoke.  Even though they go out side the hospital to smoke while their child is admitted they come back smelling awful and their small hospital room is so full of that stench that it's hard for a healthy person to breathe.  All the while the poor sick baby takes forever to get better.    For your infants health I urge you to quit.

Why can't you just wait until after you have the baby?

They say cigarettes reduce the amount of breast milk that you can produce. But I would ask your doctor just to be sure if it is even safe
