some people!

Just having a vent :-/ my sister is 4wks ahead of me and due to drop in the next week. we have had such different pregnancies - hers is her first and has been a really easy pregnancy. Mine is my third and has played hell on my body! I am in so much pain in my pelvis and back I have been referred to the physio. Everytime I mention how much in pain i am she makes comments like "oh well lucky its your last baby so you won't intentionally put yourself in pain" "goh stop your whinging all you do is complain try and enjoy your pregnancy" "be positive like me, all your negative energy will be causing it all". Firstly I didn't no if it would be my last baby when we tried, we tried due 2yrs get pregnant again and were actually thinking LG having another one so there were 2 close together (the other kids are 9 and 7 so a big gap with this one as it took so long to get pregnant). Secondly the first two didn't hurt like this so it offends me she assumes I knew what i was getting into. Grrrr I hope she poops the bed during child birth >:-/

I can't relate to the number of pregnancies because this is my first but I have a friend that's been very rude to me. She comments on how big I am and how she was much smaller. So what! I'm short and I wasn't skinny to begin with. Just be nice and show some support why don't you!

Well i am glad i am not the only one. It has been 5 yrs for me but i swear i didnt hurt this much for my first. And through i am still early my body hurts. I am not looking forward to getting bigger. And i have the same problem with people, all they can say is oh, early yet, and this isnt your first you should know what you are in for. Well guess what people not all babies are alike why would their pregancies be!! Blah!

I understand you. I have a cousin that really irritates me. She always says that she had the best pregnancies and always makes stupid comments when I complain about my pain. Or she always says "oh your belly is so tiny, mine was bigger". One day I got super mad and told her "listen you had big bellys because you are 5 feet tall and I'm 5'9", it's not my fault you're a midget". The worst part is that I was there for her when she was pregnant with  her last and believe me her pregnancy was very far from perfect, but she often forgets things like that. She is Ms. Perfect. Ugh, she makes me sick, last night I threw up because of her spending 1 1/2 hour talking nonsense.

When shes in labor complaining about how much it hurts....tell her she intentionally put herself in pain lol

Im also on my third,I am noticing lots of the same type of attitude like "oh this should benothing for you by now..." uh, no,it ***** lol. I love being pregnant because I know what the end result is.... but no matter how you slice it...It *****! Yes yes its beautiful abd all that but seriously... it can be tough. My first was a dream... my second was a little harder... my third is sucking the liiiiiife out of meeeeee! Lol I didn't expect that.

Just wait....she'll get hers...

Every pregnancy you have is going to be more painful than the other so that could be a reason why. With my first I felt nothing and with this baby I feel all the pains I didn't with the last. Good luck hun keep your ooza lol

Thanks ladies - she just said to me "I think I just have a higher pain threshold than you" so I lost it and gave her and growling and explained what my physio said to me about my transverse abdominal muscle being too relaxed now after my first pregnancies so I have no support for my pelvis which is causing the significant pain - she felt so bit sheepish after that i think.  So definitly inexperience talking on her behalf! I still hope she poops the bed though ;-) lol

Maybe just chalk it up as inexperience and naivety on her part. Maybe when she gets to no.2 or 3 and experiences a different or difficult pregnancy she will then understand...
