Hey. Im 9 wk 6 days and exactly the same as u its a nightmare. Never thought back pain could hurt so much and not being ableoto take anything to ease it is grrrr xx
Im 26w+2d and i sleep with a heating pad and have for a few months now. my doc said its safe for either your sides or back, Just not directly on your tummy. I always turn it off right before i fall asleep cuz if i dont i wake up in the middle of the night hotter then crap. Just wait till u start getting bigger cuz the back aches and pains just get way worse. But the heating pad does help me relax and makes it me feel more comfortable.
I also had back pains at the begining of my pregnancy & still do at 25 weeks! The only way i could seek relief was from heat! As long as its not on to high its fine! Not good to use heating pads & heating blankets if you have low blood circulation! Just so you know! But low heat wont hurt anything! Also try laying on your sides & putting a pillow in between your legs so your hips are straight! Will help if its lower back pain! :)
