stepchildren?
Anybody else having a baby with a man who already has a child? If so how did that child take the news of having a new baby in the family?
I hope he will be excited. Im almost dreading telling him.
I had a son with my x who had a child age 4 or 5 at the time he was excited to have a sibling .... Now I have a daughter with a different man and one on the way my son was and is excited about both
I have a 14 year old stepson, I've been with his dad since he was 1. He spits his time between us and his mom. His mom has 3 other kids with 2 different men, my husband and I has 2 kids together and one on the way. My poor stepson was a little bummed when we told him he was getting 6th sibling...... He did he is afraid he won't be able to keep up with them all. Lol. He will be in college by the time the one is 5!
My boyfriend has 2 boys, 8 and 11. They are both very excited about it. They never bring it up but if anyone else talks about it they tell everyone how excited they are.
I have a three yr old step daughter. When we told her she screamed thought I ate the baby. Lol however when we found out that we were expecting a boy she was excited and kept yelling in my belly button for him to come out so she could share her cookies with him.
My stepson is 7 and he has been asking me for a brother or sister since I first met him. ..lol. Well he got his wish...A baby brother whom he has named Alex. He is very excited. I have two daughters as well and they can't wait to meet their baby brother. I guess I lucked out. This kid has loved me and my girls since day one.
I hope he will be okay with it. I think we may tell him this weekend when I'll be 12 weeks.
You never know. Some boy love having smaller siblings.
Hes a boy and hes 7. I just dont know how he will feel. Im a little worried he will be upset about it and not want a baby brother or sister.
Some kids are really excited to have siblings. And if the older child is a girl then you have a good chance that child will be excited
