I'm new to this pregnancy and I've seen the doctor but when do u usually get your first ultrasound??

Sounds like we are in similar situations and due around the same time! My parents only live about two hours away but I wish every day they were closer, especially now. I was SO nervous to tell my parents, they were one of the last to find out because I was scared lol. But they are overjoyed and can't wait for their first grandchild. Best wishes mama!

They don't do one at my doctors til 20weeks unless you aren't sure of your last period then they will ....I'm even high risk and their not giving me one it's hard not to see the baby for so long

My doctor didn't even schedule my first appointment until I was 8 weeks late on my period. They did the ultrasound my first appointment and I was 10 weeks. They do another on around 20 weeks for gender 28 and 35 weeks for growth. Good luck and congrats

Thank you, very nervous, haven't told parents yet so I can't exactly ask them, it's nice to have woman who are all going thru the same thing. Mom also lives on the other side of the country:(

I was just at the doctor today for my first appointment :) they said 8-12 weeks, but I know some people get one at 6-7 weeks. I think it depends on the doctor and your pregnancy. Congrats!
