sorry to hear. it will not grow for long eventually it will stop and that's why no heartbeat. I had a m/c a few month ago and it was my 1st pregnancy. My hcg came back lower and I was able to acept the fact before the doctor even told me. I stood strong.
From experience I went through the exact thing with my 1st pregnancy. The signs of miscarriage and no heartbeat during ultrasound however the baby continued to grow. However at 13 weeks it was discovered that I had miscarried. I pray this isn't the case for you. I would def.have another ultrasound to look for the heartbeat. Keep praying.
I've had my blood work drawn close to every 2-3 days for last 2 weeks keeps decreasing but yet baby in ultrasound appears to have grown I have all symptoms of miscarriage was wondering about possible disappearing twin syndrome? I know levels aren't supposed to drop but in certain circumstances they can has anyone experienced this vanishing twin syndrome? What I can find online doesn't explain as much as id like to know
how did you find out the levels are dropping?
call your doctor, ask them to explain.
If your in the 1st trimester your hcg levels should double every 48-72 hours and then they will begin to level off.
Hcg levels should never decrease. Any doctor will tell you that. And hcg levels dont decrease anytime during pregnancy. Just saying...
THINKING OF YOU. Fingers crossed
I'm about 6 weeks according to ultrasound waiting for another ultrasound next week to be sure from what I have seen hcg levels can lower with vanishing twin syndrome and its possible as twins run in my family and hubbys but skips generations. Getting hcg done again tomorrow please think positive thoughts that my baby is okay !
That is not true. There are a few reasons hcg can lower and it not be a miscarriage. It Could be vanishing twin syndrome or if you're past, I think 8 or 9 weeks, your hcg levels start to decrease and is not a reliable way to track pregnancy. How far along are you? I Would say if they can't find a heartbeat on the ultrasound, it is a pretty bad sign. But I would definitely ask for a second opinion before opting for a D & c.
Once your hcg lowers 100% chance the baby didnt make it.
Your def having a miscarriage. So sorry for your loss. :(
