Question

I am almost 34 weeks pregnant and I was just wondering when the doctors will start checking to see if I'm dilating.

I go to my 36 week appt Wednesday and thats when my dr starts checking.

Thank you guys. Just curious. I have my check up Monday. Didnt know if they would be doing that or not. Is anyone from Jacksonville nc area? I'm away from home probably going to be doing this delivery on my own :( hubby is leaving for 5 week training middle of this month. I'm delivering at onslow.

normally 35 weeeks is when they start checking once a week to see the progress

I got checked once at 36 and then again at 40 weeks. I'm 40+2 now and will get checked again next week..

I was checked when I went to the hospital last Tuesday. Otherwise the first check for me would be this Monday coming up and I'll be almost 37 weeks along.

My midwife doesn't start checking until 38 weeks.

they started checking me at 35 weeks :) but you can ask them too at anytime(but let me tell you its not fun expecially before the baby drops its a lot of pressure and a little pain too)
