Unwanted baby shower gifts lol

Did get everything you needed at your shower?  What are some gifts you want to take back? What are some of the best things you got?

I got alot of stuff at both my baby showers.....so what i did was took some stuff back and got gift cards so that as the baby is growing and needing new things i can always goback and get it for him...lots of my guests were the ones that told me to do that so that helped me not feel guilty

I returned safety kits. I got over 10 of them! I also got 60+ wash cloths! Nobody seemed to have looked on my registry because I got a lot of things I didn't need. But I took the stiff I didn't need and exchanged them for things I could use.

I returned what we got to much of, the main thing that went back tho was bibs cause we had TONS. We still had some from our first daughter and my mil bought a bunch at a yard sale so we had a lot. Other then that we got a bunch of other great and useful stuff.

I returned a bottle warmer and baby monitor.. Didn't need them because I think bottle Warmers are dangerous and my daughters room is right next to ours so didn't need the monitor.. But just got things we did need in exchange.. But the best gifts are like the care packages and reciving blankets.. Also the mitts for the little hands (: we got tons of big stuff but honestly it's the little stuff like that, that get the most use.

I barely got anything off my registry...I received a lot of clothes!  I didn't have any clothes on my registry. My mom aunt and best friends bought my crib, mattress. Car seat, stroller, pack and play, and rock and play. But my other friends just got mostly clothes...I only got a few packs of diapers so we are having a diaper party in a few weeks...But the people you know that will hook you up tell them the important things you need so you get them. And I got a few doubles of things and some things I wasn't crazy about. I just returned them and got something else that I needed.  And if you don't get everything from where u register you get 10 or 15% off of it.  I did target and babies r us...you might also get gift cards too. I got them as well.  Hope that helps

If you do a registry I assume that's a good way to avoid things you don't want or need

We have diapers that I don't want. Lol. But we got lots of clothes. Our next shower my aunt is asking for certain sized cloths

With my first son they gave a lot of things from like swings to the eating table.. and lots and lots of clothes...lol the only thing that i might have not needed was a bottle warmer i thought it would take longer so never used it..

Well perhaps ask the gift givers if they have their receipts so they can get their money back?  You could sell them on craiglist!
