Breast pump!

So yesterday my breast pump came in the mail woooooo!! I was nervous because my insurance had been taking a while to send it and I didn't know if it would be the one I asked for plus in the notes they just requested a standard and who knows what that means in their book lol. It wasn't the one I wanted (avent double breast pump) lol but that's ok because I got the Madela double electric pump and it comes with so much!!! My big sis had the same exact one and loved hers!! So I'm happy with my new pump and even happier I saved $240 plus woooo!!!

That's great oct3014! I'm also going through the VA and got the exact same breast pump. I was pretty much impressed with the VA that day. :)

I have va insurance and I was told no many times because they dnt deal with prenatal care I had to be sent to an outside dr. The va assigned me a case worker and she told my primary care doc that I was interested in receiving a pump. So she put in a request and it took about a month for them to get everything in order before I got it. They also had to order it from the actual company because they dnt carry them. So maybe go through the company and see if you can get one and let them know your insurance will cover it.

I have been trying to get a breast pump but nobody seems to know where to start. My insurance covers 100% if I purchase it from an in network provided. They gave a list of in network medical appliance stores but NONE sell a breast pump! :/ not sure where to go. How did you get yours through insurance?
