13 weeks FTM

I'm a curvy girl, and only 13 weeks with my first. I've already had people ask me why I'm not showing. I've got a bit of a belly from being slightly overweight, and I don't expect to show til about 5 months. Is anyone else not looking forward to the belly rubs of complete strangers?

This is my first I'm just finishing up my 4th month. Already have a little bump but was also bugger to begin with. So far no one has tried to touch my bumo yet but unless I know them as family and friends Id rather them not touch me.

Yup. It does get worse after birth. The worst is when total strangers ask/ try to hold your newborn.

Everytime I see one woman I know she just keeps rubbing my tummy. It is so akward, and she is so sweet, that I don't have the heart to say anything. But it is so uncomfortable. :/
If it was a stranger I would be able to back up or put my hands on my tummy myself to get away from it. But man, personal space should still be respected.
My sister says just wait until Kayla is born. That people stick there faces in the stroller and touch the baby's face oohing and awwing. I am thinking about installing a sign in which warns of projectile vommiting. :)
I showed but not a lot until a couple of months ago and I am seven months now. I didnt totally pop huge until a few weeks ago.

So glad I'm not the only one. I always wondered if it was a protective instinct. The girls I work with were always forcing me to feel their bellies.

OMG! We have the same mil! Mine once reached over and suddenly pulled my shirt up in front of a group of people to show them my bump! Without bothering to ask me! I must have turned 6 shades of red! And I will say not from embarrassment.

I'm a size 14 and with my first I didn't show till I was 6 months. I'm now 13 weeks with my second and showing already. I had few people try and touch my bump with my first I told them not to as it made me feel uncomfortable afterall it's your body don't let anyone make you feel like that.

I didn't show with my first till 5m but my second I showed at 10w im all belly and carrying a girl and my pregnancy is 100% different then with my boy. I hate when anyone except hubby touches my belly. My mil asked if people are trying to touch my belly yet and I told her no and made it clear that I do not want to be touched. Lol I guess that sounds mean but my mother in law is way to touchy feeling when I'm pregnant and its uncomfortable.

You're not expected to show at any particular point. There is no rule like: you're 13 weeks *poof* belly! Lol So don't worry about them. As to belly rubbing...I can see being excited for a ftm. It's like a right of passage. Me not so much anymore. Lol

I have a thing about touching people...I don't like it. Lol. I think I'm gonna make a grumpy mommy shirt that says "don't touch the goods!" ;-)
