I've had three since I've been pregnant. I'm 22+4. Seems like they are common during pregnancy, but I got them often before becoming pregnant. My Dr. gives me antibiotics for it.
UTIs are very very common with pregnancy I'm 34 weeks pregnant and have had 3. With my first pregnancy I also had one. Drink lots of water and don't hold it if you have to go. There's not a ton of room left for your bladder so that alone makes us prone to have them. Make sure you go to your doctor and get it checked out before the infection can get worse. Good luck!
I've had a uti on and off through my whole pregnancy they just give you some meds
Not necessarily, but if left untreated then the protein in your urine from the infection can be dangerous to the pregnancy. Consult your doctor asap whenever you have any sign of a UTI.
You need to get meds for it cuz it can turn into a kidney infection if not treated. And meds are the only thing that will kill the infection. You can drink cranberry juice to keep it gone but in order to kill the infection you will have to take something. I had 3 in a row with my daughter and then got a yeast infection.
