Oh the best iron source that really helps is molasses. Its a really quick way of keeping your iron levels healthy..a spoonful here and there. You can buy this from a health shop...really works im a veggie and have kept my iron levels healthy just through that..as even though steak etc is rich in iron high amounts of red meat is not the healthiest. Anyway sorry to go on

Moderate exercise 30min a day, eat as many fruits and vegetables as you can. Side effects of early pregnancy get in the way of both of those. Avoid unpasteurized dairy and fruit juices. In general eat healthy, stick to natural food, avoid highly processed junk food, high mercury fish, undercooked meat/eggs and caffeine
Drink tons of water
Expect to be really fatigued, so sleep as much as you can.
Don't smoke, avoid being around smoking

Just eat healthily. Include lots of calcium like almonds...dark green veg and vit D like sardines and fish. Lots of water....folic acid like brocolli and spinach. Dont overdose on vitamin supplements so if your already taking them just have a healthy and balanced diet. Im half way through my nutrition degree so its been really handy learning all this for myself as my last pregnancy was 10 years ago. Goodluck :)

Probiotics are good. Otherwise wait and see if your doctor wants you to take extra folic acid, iron or calcium. I wouldn't add anything up until that point :)
