water birth

This is my 3 pregnancy and I am planning a water birth this time(in a hospital with my ob). Has anyone done one.what are your thoughts and also did you use a doula along with your husband? Also any tips?

Keaanddan03 what about the business of being born? I think there's a good amount of water birthing covered in the movies or the series (it's been so long since I watched the movie). I am going to a birthing center and will have the tub option as well but am wondering... doesn't the water get pretty gross? Lol I've seen water births and never noticed the water changing color or anything but idk.. I bled a lot with my first and after and there's just so much coming out?
