what do braxton hicks feel like?

I'm 28 weeks. The last few days I've had period like cramps. I've drank more water, its not dehydration. They're very low towards my lady parts. They're not really painful, just feel like I'm getting my period. Id say it happens 3-4 times a day. Are they Braxton Hicks? Im a ftm

BH is just when your tummy gets tight then back to normal.

I've been having the same feeling, I'm 29 weeks. I'm bigger, but I've noticed if I lay on my back my lower abdomen gets hard. So I was thinking it's BH

Braxton hicks don't feel like that for me... Sounds more cervix related... I'd expect by 28 weeks a Braxton hicks contraction would be felt all over your abdomen as the whole uterus goes hard (it should be pretty big by 28wks!)...Of course everyone's body is quite different so they might be BHs. Still nothing much to worry about if not... I got some BHs and some cervix related cramps last pregnancy and none were signs of anything!
