sex and pregnancy.

So i always find it amusing.  How cam sex be safe if they tell you to have sex to help start labor?  Confused lol.

It also helps to speed up the process if you have an orgasm too. Im 38 weeks today and everytime I have sex I have contractions for about 20-30 minutes afterwards. This just started happening but they wear off so I know its not time:( Its real annoying

Lol I know right. It's just because male ejaculate softens the cervix which can in effect help with dilation. But other things need to line up in order for labour to happen. Your body needs to be ready for labour for sex to 'work'.
Sex is safe during pregnancy, unless told otherwise by a Dr eg if on pelvic rest :)
