You can take prilosec or omeprazole same med ones name brand other is generic. I have to take it twice a day my heartburn is so bad. That medicine helps. You can buy it over the counter or get doc to write a prescription for it if you have insurance that will cover it. Good luck.

Lol , I had heartburn with my son. Not as much or long but he had a head full of hair. Praying my daughter does also with all this heartburn. I always joke she better have enough to braid with the sickness I deal with behind the heartburn

As I stated above this is my 7th pregnancy and never in my life have I experienced anything as horrible as this. I've actually convinced myself I'm carrying twins as all my symptoms are more intense. I suppose they say heartburn means baby gonna have hair well after giving birth to 3 bald babies I really do hope that is true xx

I been like that my ENTIRE pregnancy. NOTHING helps. & it lasts literally ALL day long. It keeps me nauseous. I'm currently 32+2 and haven't been able to find relief. Hopefully you do. Good luck

Maybe try mints or mint gum. I know they help in a bind. Not as good as the antacids, but they help cool some of the burning. I was eating the maximum amount of antacids daily though until I quit eating anything sweet. I can't even lick powdered sugar off of my fingers without instant burn.

That's the thing tho I feel like this 24.7 unless I'm sucking the antacids everytime I eat anything it comes back x

Try limiting your sugar intake. I get a major flare up if I eat anything sweet. It's hard to not indulge in sweets when I am pregnant, but it's just not worth the pain. I figure I can indulge after the baby is born.
