I have been lactose intolerant, so i dont have milk. Lol i have a feeling she is going to tell me to just stick with my plan and just get up to go to the bathroom or to shower or whatever like normal.. Cause thats the only time things are normal. Once i try cleaning or soming up n down stairs to my moms apartment, it drops like crazy.

When I got switched to insulin, it was hard for me for a week or so because I'm used to high sugar levels so I was so weak one time I couldn't even push a grocery cart! But after awhile I felt great and feeling fine under 100 when I used to be uncontrolled. In a way you just have to tough it out. If you know you will do more activity eat a lot more to even it out.

I'm type two diabetic that's pregnant and I check my sugars 7 times a day. Your body feels like that because it's not used to the changes so feeling tired is normal until you start to get your routine down. I was told having 65 morning sugars is ok but below you should eat more. When your sugar gets real low, try drinking a glass of milk, then check again in 15 minutes. I do that because milk gradually raises the sugar levels but doesn't spike it...that and also invest in glucose tablets so when you feel your sugar is low it will help raise it a bit to make you feel better.

Ive been following my meal plan exactly like they said to. But when i get up n do something, its drops and its like i cant do anything to raise it.. So im beginning to wonder if they are just going to tell me to stick with my plan, and just not get up to do much.. It seems like the littlest things will drop my sugar dramatically..

I already do all that. I eat every two hours, test three times a day. I woke up with a level of 60, then i had pancakes with peanut butter and syrup, two hours later, level was 72, which is usually my morning number. So then for lunch i had a normal serving of chesse burger mac n cheese amd a frappe from McDonald's, and two hours later my level was 59.. Morning levels are supposed to be between 60 and 90 and after meals, 60 and 120...

if your sugar has been low and making you feel ill, weak, shaky etc. that just means you need to eat. like mentioned above you want to snack about every two hours but on diabetic friendly things. veggies and dip, greek yogurt, nuts. anything with protein in it. i think if your sugars have been low you might just be restricting yourself alittle too much with what your eating. but ifbyour nervous to spike your numbers continue the small meals but eat more frequently. ive had a couple of days were i get back down to fasting numbers two hours after eating so ill snack then. but i dont normally feel sick or weak. if your not having symptoms of low sugar i think your okay.

You can eat as much lean meat, veggies and stuff like yogurt and cheese that you want.  You do have to watch stuff like pasta, breads and rice.  How low was your blood sugar today?  Did you feel ill- shaky, sweaty, pale?  To combat that try eating several small meals a day with snacks in between.  If you need help ask to meet with a nutritionist.  They can help you understand your restrictions and also help meal plan.
