tap on belly to feel the baby??

How many of you tap, move or do other things to your belly just to feel the baby move. I'm paranoid so when I don't feel the baby move for a while,I tap on my belly and of course she replies back by moving : )

Very true!! Every time I lay on my side,shes not happy! I can feel her bones running through my stomach trying to position herself I guess.

guilty:) me her father and my daughter play with her that way. soft pokes and I'll lay on the left side which I.guess she hates lol. they say cold water and sweets work. she loves skittles

I often try drinking ice cold water when I haven't felt her for awhile. It usually works. I poke at my belly too. I really don't think you could hurt the baby that way. At work I also play music for her. I slip my headphones under the bottom of my shirt so no one notices (I work in a cubicle) and I've gotten a reaction to that before. Lol. I hate  when I don't feel her for long periods of time. I'm often distracted throughout the day and moving around a lot at work. I get the most activity at night when I can just sit and rest :)

Ive heard horrible stories (cord around the neck) so I always just check on her

I dont evn need to poke my baby or do anything lol coz as soon as I sit or try to sleep the baby kicks the hell out of my inside.. but I do hv time during the day when I play about and talk to my baby and it gives me good kicks.

Yes I poke at my lil boy all the time. Usually when he's moving, or sometimes to get him to move out of the position he's in.

My lil boy usually starts kicking around the time I get to work. And about 10 mins after I start eating. I'm too paranoid to tap on the belly. Lol.

I've also used ice and the flashlight trick. Lol ;)
