does sex actually get things moving???

Had app today I'm 37& half weeks so even though 2& half week left I'm classed as full term they said as she's so big n ready they induce me at 39 weeks i really don't want that so any tips on getting baby moving?? Apparently sex but don't know how accurate that is????

Semen helps thin your cervix which is what moves things along. But it doesn't always work and one time probably isn't enough if you aren't already thinning.

For it to work you need to orgasm which I find a little difficult being this large  lol but very possible I f tried sex and walking with my first and it worked I'm going to start trying both with this one to

I heard it doesn't work for everyone but It did for me with my last 2, I told my hubby i w as ready to have the baby and we had sex and I put a pillow under my bottom so that way the sperm could sit there lol tmi... but then 30 minutes later I was having contractions and once they were regular I went to the hospital and they said I was 4cm. So it doesn't hurt to try
